Interview With The Vampire x Vampons

Season Two of Interview With the Vampire pushed boundaries, and so did we.

A Bloody Success

The second year of the Anne Rice Night Market was a smash hit--pivoting from high cost 'elevated' items to fan-first, 'get-you-talking' items. A kismet instagram post about the start up 'Vampons' sealed the deal.

Don't Take Yourself Too Seriously

I started with the social audience—because in a fantasy and prestige-drama pileup, “pretty” doesn’t cut it. Competitive research showed nobody was doing anything truly unhinged, so we went there: Vampons—a brash, scroll-stopping partnership that only Interview with the Vampire could pull off.

Partnering with Smaller Brands

While retail presence and social numbers are always a plus, working with a small brand allowed AMC to nimbly execute a quick turnover--with a high volume of product.

Sold Out Quickest

We didn’t invent a product—we partnered with one that already had heat, then made it feel unmistakably Anne Rice. By leading consumer-first and bottling the show’s seduction (not just its genre), the Vampons sold out first—before anything else in the campaign.
